About Us
I am a lifelong horse gal, former equitation rider who fell in love with draft horses as an adult. I was inspired by farmers and teamsters in New England who have created viable modern ways of life working with draft animal power. Over the years, I've found wonderful teachers and mentors, and eventually got to work as a teamster/carriage driver in Acadia National Park giving historic tours with teams of draft horses on the famous carriage roads of Maine's Mt. Desert Island. My right hand man, beloved draft horse and I are available for special events and tours in our western MA hills and surrounding area.

TBird is quite the professional, skilled carriage horse, and my personal dream teammate. His confidence, joy and intelligence in his work are just some of his many wonderful qualities that he brings wherever he goes. He spends lots of time roaming and playing with his herd mates in their pasture, being doted on, eating endless hay and napping in the sun between occasional easy going jobs. He sure lights people up, lifts spirits, and brings many smiles as he struts along in his magnificent way. He is a real gem, and I am truly fortunate to be his human.
